If being worried that food coloring caused your autism and telling strangers that beef tallow would've prevented it is not enough to keep you in full militant mode this Thanksgiving, here is a list of other foods that the International Agency for Risk on Cancer (IARC) has linked to cancer.
You'll be pleased to know that these are all in organic food.

I made this graphic for Halloween Science 2.0 but for progressive food nannies, and now their equally unhinge MAHA cousins, the modern world is terrifying all year long. Base illustration from Storyblocks but the snark is all me.
How is that possible? To be a successful epidemiologist at France's IARC or Secretary Kennedy's National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, you don't need evidence of pesky confounders like a "plausible biological explanation", those are for rubes the Biden EPA assured us. You only need a food survey or a dead rat. Kill enough rats and get enough survey results that people who got cancer also drank coffee and you can declare Statistical Significance. That's all you need, their journals accept illusions of power.
Celery - caffeic acid, rodent carcinogen
Broccoli - allyl isothiocyanate, rodent carcinogen
Potatoes - not just solanine, arsenic, and chaconine but also caffeic acid and ethyl alcohol, a rodent and human carcinogen.
Rolls with butter - Acetaldehyde, benzene, ethyl carbonate and more, all rodent carcinogens.
Turkey - Heterocyclic amines, rodent carcinogens and mutagens. You can try to escape the turkey by eating Prime Rib but it has heterocyclic amines, plus benzene and psoralens.
Stuffing - a lot, including some of the ones mentioned above plus acrylamide, dihydrazines and more.
Cranberry sauce - furan derivatives: mutagens
Pumpkin pie - a lot fewer toxic chemicals than apple pie, but still has benzo(a)pyrene, coumarin, methyl eugenol and safrole
Coffee - a lot of what is above, plus hydrogen peroxide, a mutagen and rodent carcinogen and a great way to deal with cuts. Jasmine Tea won't save you from doom, it has benzo(a)pyrene and quercetin glycosides, which are both mutagen and rodent carcinogens.
What is there to do? Not much. Epidemiologists declared eating a hot dog as hazardous to your health as eating plutonium while smoking cigarettes so hand them a Snickers the next time they go on some spiel about how virtual pollution "emerging evidence" "suggests", "correlates" or "links to" worse grades for kids. It just means no science is involved.
It is good for environmentalists raising money but won't help you at all.
