Just as the constituents of vision are nothingnesses (a plural of ‘nothing’), then can it be that the final essence of matter may be the same nothingnesses? (For this subject, see my paper, ‘A Study Of Vision’)
In vision, we saw that the void ultimately creates the vision before us. A paradox indeed, but that is a possibility for the physical constituents of matter. The details of anything we look upon, and stare at, produces images of nothing. It is the collection of these Voids that constitute the final vision, just as letters produce words, and words ultimately create the meanings and flavours of a story.
The same goes for the mind of an observer who is being awake and vacant, thinking of nothing: his mind is a ‘blank’ and in that mental state his mind is equal to the nothingnesses and the Voids that constitute the properties of vision.
It is possible that the final physical properties of matter are the same Voids of Vision and the Voids of the Mind that are the constituents of what we call ‘physical reality’. How possible is that?
Since we have already seen that the Constituents of Vision (CoV) are equal to the constituents of the vacant mind, or the Voids of Mind (VoM), then it is not too far a leap to suggest that, perhaps, the ultimate constituents of physical reality are the same as (CoV) and (VoM)? (Compare Planck’s leap of faith with his individual quanta?)
Do these Voids have other relevance for us? They do. The voids affect our entire mind on a minute basis, for it is the existence of these Voids that interact with our minds and they create and/or cause us to be vacant from nanoseconds to longer periods of time. The greater their influence on Mind, the less Mind exists functionally. Indeed, when Void is maximum in an awake mind, then observer becomes equal to nothingnesses, or Voids themselves.
Therefore, Mind exists functionally only in relation to the influence of Voids, the greater the influence of Voids, the less influence for the Mind. These Voids change in power and influence constantly and in different speeds of time, from nanoseconds to hours – as they are constantly being affected by events, sounds, sceneries, thoughts, emotions, memories. (See my article, ‘Constituents of the Mind CoM). These changes in the degrees of influence of Void in relation to Mind creates for us the final ‘reality’ for our Mind and therefore, for our ‘Self’, ‘Self-Awareness’ and the ‘I’.
