OXFORD, England, September 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Georgina Park graduated with an Honours Degree in Marketing from Oxford Brookes University in June 2009. Armed with her degree, she started looking for a role in Marketing. As she says I wanted to continue studying as I had really enjoyed my degree so I looked into additional marketing qualifications. I decided to study with the Oxford College of Marketing for my Professional Diploma because of the tutor support they offered.
Georgina is now a Marketing Executive for Passivent Ltd; a natural ventilation and natural daylighting company operating in the B2B market targeting commercial architects, mechanical/ electrical engineers and contractors. She finds the role is challenging, varied, exciting and very interesting - and has proved invaluable in providing her with the knowledge to continue her studies with the CIM. Georgina says that Passivent are very supportive of her studying and provide her with the relevant information and advice to complete her course. In addition to this, they give her one half day a week to study which is extremely valuable.
Georgina says, The Oxford College of Marketing were very supportive and I found the mock exam to be a really helpful tool when revising for the Delivering Customer Value module. I won't disclose my mock exam result but it certainly wasn't an A! The feedback gave me the opportunity to develop my exam writing skills which were very different from my university examinations! When I had the phone call from the CIM I was ecstatic to find out that I had achieved the top grade in the exam. I am looking forward to attending the graduation and continuing my studies with the CIM. I am currently looking to continue with my CIM study programme with the Post Graduate Diploma.
Rosie Phipps, Principal of Oxford College of Marketing, says, This is the third time in a row one of our students has achieved a top CIM award. Well done Georgina, we are very happy for you. Bring out the champagne!
