About Caitlin I am a research scientist who dabbles in freelance writing and editing, birding, cooking, indoor gardening, needleworking, various athletics, music, compulsive book-reading, and generally doing things the hard way. I am never bored. I have a B.S. in biology from Haverford College, an M.S. in biology from the College of William and Mary, and a Ph.D. in applied science from the College of William and Mary.
