Hello and welcome to Science 2.0®, the world's largest science outreach network and the flagship of the Science 2.0 network.
By getting an account you can customize your profile with pictures, banner, a personal blogroll and more.
You can also leave comments on articles, add other members to your friend lists, chat with people on the site, make blogs on your column or eventually write articles that can be seen by hundreds of thousands of other Science 2.0 participants.
A tutorial on navigating the site, writing articles and blogging is available here.
We only have a few rules; most importantly, Science 2.0 is about science. Science has a broad definition and we're agreeable to learning lots of new things but your content has to be scientific.
No blatant advocacy or advertising link sites - you can copy and paste articles from other sites you contribute to but don't do a blurb with a link directing readers there. It's bad manners and we check each site by hand so we'll remove it if the link rule is violated or the articles aren't about some field of science.
You must respect the copyright of others. Pasting copyrighted articles from other sites is not allowed. If you use a particular article from another author be sure to use only the blurb that is relevant and link to or attribute the other work accordingly under fair use.
There are more legal buzzwords in the Terms of Service but this covers the basics. Thanks for signing up and we look forward to learning new things from you!
