Science 2.0 is a pro-science education nonprofit operating under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and headquartered in California. Please make a tax-deductible donation if you value independent science communication, collaboration, participation, and support open access of science studies.
Science 2.0 was founded in 2006 to provide a way for scientists, doctors, and engineers to speak directly with the 65 million Americans who are interested in science issues.
We were not created by a trade association, an ad agency, or a corporation, this created by a guy in his bedroom. We do not represent any industry, we came into being solely so scientists could take the place of editors and journalists who were falling prey to exaggerated findings, scaremongering and hype. Because this is a science organization, our work is often used by policymakers to offset claims by activists who have targeted vaccines, GMOs, farming, nuclear power, natural gas, and anything they call “chemicals” but nothing except promote health scares.
If you share in the belief that first principles remain important and that science should be used in science and health policy, please support our work. All of our content is available to the public free of charge, as it always has and always will be, so if you can't donate, please share an article with friends, family or on social media.
