Climate change : myth or reality ? Mr Al Gore vs Heartland Institue as shown on popular channel.
Climate change is real .One can see it happening. Mr Al Gore was awarded Nobel prize for his work on this . Simultaneously Heartland Institute reports were also shown on popular channel this week.
The Heartland Institute predictions for 100 years from now that high temperatures and high CO2 could improve plant growth but who will live another 100 years to prove they are right or wrong? What we are facing each day is following:
1. Water bodies are drying.
2. Forests are vanishing in tropical areas
3. Storms Tsunami are more frequent
4. Floods and fires are more frequent.
5. Water tables are growing down.
6. Agricultural productivity is decreasing.
7. Soil erosion, wind erosion is playing havoc on vegetation.
Forget about carbon levels for the moment call it vegetation pattern changes or vanishing of forests are they not real ?Can one not see them happening ?
If there are reports of forests increasing in tropical climate please inform the Science if not inform the people that something is going wrong and we have prevent it from further destruction in our own lifetime . I believe Mr Al Gore is right. There is no option to believe otherwise as I don’t see any signs of improving crop productivity happening in real time
