TORONTO, September 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Comprehensive Care International (CCI), is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony DiCaita, CMA, CHE, MBA, MPA, as Project Director for the Children's Cancer Hospital (CCH) 57357 project in Cairo, Egypt.
Mr. DiCaita is a strategic planner with over 20 years of healthcare experience in financial planning, project management, process improvement, operational planning, and risk management. In his new role Mr. DiCaita will develop and drive all aspects of the CCH 57357 project including strategy and day-to-day management, while ensuring success in the knowledge transfer of healthcare practices and healthcare technology. Prior to joining CCI Mr. Dicaita held progressive positions of responsibility including:
- Vice President of Finance and Clinical Support Services at York Central Hospital, where he positioned the hospital for redevelopment, was a driving force in developing a "best practices" fully-integrated support services delivery model, and also led a series of corporate wide initiatives to reduce risk, generate additional revenues and improve the overall effectiveness of existing resources.
- Vice President Finance and Support Services at Toronto Grace Hospital, where he researched and developed public-private partnership options in relation to expansion plans, developed corporate long-term strategic plans, financial options plans, and human resources transition plans.
- Chief Financial Officer at Women's College Hospital, where he implemented internal audit controls, improved treasury management, increased budget accountability and compliance, revised policies and procedures, and redesigned capital acquisition strategies.
- Director Financial Planning and Decision Support at The Wellesley Central Hospital, where he introduced benchmarking tools to evaluate cost and productivity performance, directed the annual operating plan, and developed performance indicators to monitor resources and improve service levels.
- Business Manager at The Hospital for Sick Children, where he was responsible for financial and administrative management and designed a new computer system to support financial operations, inventory management and research grant revenue.
