BOURNEMOUTH, England and TAIPEI, Taiwan, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- CCww and Arisetek announce today that they have signed an agreement whereby CCww supplies its proven GSM/GPRS stack solution for Arisetek to create a family of compelling handset designs based on NXP's AeroFONE(TM) single-chip phone. Arisetek's handsets use the headroom in the AeroFONE(TM)'s ARM-9 instead of a separate application processor to run a full graphical MMI, music player, and camera, combining low profile, low power consumption and minimal BoM with high-level handset value and performance.
The first handset designs will be available for immediate manufacture from Q2/08 onwards, and have the following outline features and options:
