IRIS is the cheaper and qualitative alternative to video conferencing. Iris2iris BV, a Dutch company, developed the product.
IRIS is the only system that can be combined with any web conference and video chat program. Whether you use Skype, Webex or Vidyo, IRIS enables you to have real online eye contact. IRIS is also the only system for which the 'receiving party' does not need a device in order to have eye contact, and as such it is codec-free. This provides a whole range of opportunities for, for example, remote sales, healthcare and education, but also for online helpdesks, contact centres and the communication between different offices of a company.
IRIS can be linked to any Windows or Apple system. The user looks at his monitor, but because of the mirror construction it is as if he is looking straight into the camera. The product fits perfectly on every desk and can also be used as a second monitor.
