LONDON, February 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Global DataCenter Management (GDCM) today announced the appointment of Daniel Tautges to President of its Operations-Express business unit, in a move to accelerate its investment in the US market.

Mr. Tautges has 20 years industry experience, including senior management positions held at Lucent Technologies, IBM/Micromuse, Network Harmoni and Rackwise-Visual Network Design. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Visual Network Design where he was responsible for business planning, worldwide sales, marketing, product management and the support and implementation of Rackwise's software products.

Prior to Visual Networks, Mr. Tautges was Vice President at Micromuse (now IBM Tivoli) where he joined, as part of an acquisition, after leaving Network Harmoni (a network management start-up). In addition, he was Vice President of the IN Software Group and Global Channels at Lucent Technologies (AGCS).

Mr. Tautges has an MBA from National University and Undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from San Diego State University.
