The Pharma Exchange Conference series is part of an Informex initiative to act as a knowledge conduit for the chemical industry. The Milwaukee conference theme will be Optimizing Chemical Projects which will offer the rapidly expanding Midwest chemical community a forum to network, share best practices, and advance business opportunities.

In conjunction with Rondaxe Pharma, the Pharma Exchange Conference, to be held at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, will focus on acceleration through collaboration of company leaders, investors, legislators and others industry drivers to connect with the resources needed to succeed in the highly skilled and fast-growing Midwest chemical market. The one-day event will run from 9am - 6pm CST and will be followed immediately by a cocktail reception for all participants. The reception will provide attendees with an additional opportunity to network with legislators, academics and other local influencers.

The day will feature five session and four panel discussions. Sessions are adapted to highlight the advantages of the region, discussing the needs and concerns of the Midwestern marketplace, and examine the chemical manufacturing industry at large. Some of the sessions include:

The Pharma Exchange will include speakers from Baxter, Cambridge Major, Evonik Degussa, Fontarome, Rondaxe, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, SAFC and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Research Fund.

Milwaukee was a natural choice for the location of the first Pharma Exchange Conference as chemical manufacturing is integral to economic development in Wisconsin, commented Jennifer Jessup, Global Brand Director, Informex. Chemistry companies in Wisconsin directly employ over 15,000 people and indirectly contribute nearly 43,000 jobs to the economy.* Jessup further states, The Midwest highly values the pharmaceutical industry and we are delighted to be able to provide a forum for local influencers to gather to enhance the region and their individual businesses. We hope that once this inaugural event takes place, it will be the catalyst for further networking by and within the region.

At the event, there will be a feature presentation during lunch about investment strategies entitled: 'Capturing Value: What's Needed to Support Growth from Dollars to Counsel' with representatives from private equity and venture capital firms including: Trevor D'Souza, Mason Wells Venture Fund, Managing Director and John Beagle, Grace Matthews, Co-Founder.
