LONDON, January 8 /PRNewswire/ --

- Results Embargoed Until Tuesday January 13th 2009

Keep Britain Tidy will name and shame the most littered fast food brands in England on Tuesday (Jan 13th).

We will reveal the most common brands dropped in a gutter near you.

Keep Britain Tidy surveyors spent two days observing fast food litter in cities across the country.

The results serve up super-sized shame for which fast food brands? Customers of which world-famous chain contribute to more than a quarter of all fast food litter? Which well-known bakery has a huge slice of the gutter share?

Our release will reach you on Monday January 12th (embargoed until Tuesday January 13th).

Photo/interview opportunity: Leicester Square, London, Tues, Jan 13th, 10am: Keep Britain Tidy will highlight the top three sources of fast food litter with a rather unusual visual. Chief executive Phil Barton will be available for interview. We are happy to do pre-record interviews from Friday January 9th as long as the story is not broadcast until January 13th.
