LONDON, November 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Snap-happy consumers can make big savings and win superb prizes - including cameras, printers and other photo paraphernalia - in a brand new online game developed by OgilvyOne London for its client Kodak.
The game, entitled Trolley Dash, takes the form of a supermarket sweep in which players have to grab as much booty as they can within a given time limit, and can be found at: http://shop.kodak.co.uk/TrolleyDash.
The thinking behind the game is to help customers discover the full spectrum of Kodak's photography products while having fun.
"It was a throwback to the old trolley dash games of the past" said Jean Paquet, Web Content Manager at Kodak. "We wanted to showcase the complete line of Kodak products in a fun and interactive way."
Trolley Dash offers customers various discounts on Kodak products through a series of shopping challenges. Using a virtual hand, users 'grab' products off the Kodak store shelf and toss them into a nearby trolley. Successful completion of each level, within the allotted time, results in a discount on shop merchandise. For players feeling lucky, the completion of subsequent levels enables them to receive new offers more enticing than the last.
Players have the chance to win the following:
- Complete Level 1: 10% off accessories at the Kodak Online Shop
- Complete Level 2: 10% off accessories + GBP5 off cameras, printers and frames (excluding clearance centre items) at the Kodak Online Shop
- Complete Level 3: 10% off accessories + GBP10 off cameras, printers and digital frames (excluding clearance centre items) at the Kodak Online Shop AND the opportunity to enter a monthly prize draw. Each monthly winner will receive a Kodak V 1253 camera with HD dock. Each monthly runner-up will receive a Kodak 5300 AiO printer.
The Kodak website also provides detailed product information and contains links to helpful support forums. In addition, customers can upload and share photos in the Kodak Gallery - an online hub for photo-enthusiasts: http://www.kodakgallery.com/
