LONDON, January 29 /PRNewswire/ --

Polarion Software, creators of fully integrated application lifecycle management solutions and services based on Subversion, will launch two workshop series in the United Kingdom: How to Ramp Up to Subversion Fast and Application Lifecycle Management with Subversion.

The Stuttgart, Germany based software company has been conducting these workshops regularly in Germany and other European countries for the past two years. According to Polarion CEO Frank Schroeder, Forrester Research's (http://www.forrester.com) report Software Change and Configuration Management, Q2 2007 (May 29, 2007), which cited Subversion as the leading stand-alone SCM solution, sparked widespread interest in the open source version control system, touted by many as the definitive replacement for CVS. As a result, Polarion Software has seen an increased demand for these workshops.

Having recently established a UK subsidiary, Polarion Software UK, Ltd., the company is now launching the workshops in the United Kingdom. The first workshops will take place at 107-111 Fleet Street, London on February 1, 2008. The company plans to offer the sessions approximately every six weeks throughout the year. Cost of each workshop is $79.00 (GBP).
