- US Operators Can Now Utilize Rural Broadband Funding to Deploy Redline's RedMAX(TM) and RedCONNEX(TM) Products

Redline Communications Group Inc. (Redline) (TSX and AIM: RDL), a leading provider of WiMAX and broadband wireless infrastructure products, today announced that it has received USDA acceptance and Buy American status from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Utility Services (RUS) for its RedMAX and RedCONNEX products. The acceptance will enable network operators in the United States to take advantage of a federal rural broadband funding program when deploying Redline's broadband wireless products in support of rural residential, business and community wireless services.

Redline's WiMAX Forum Certified(R) products awarded RUS acceptance and Buy American status include the RedMAX AN100U, and RedMAX Subscriber Unit (SU-O). The Redline Management System (RMS) and RedCONNEX AN80i, Redline's award-winning broadband wireless infrastructure product also achieved acceptance. Redline's products underwent the USDA's rigorous process and are now included on the USDA's designated List of Materials Acceptable for Use in Telecommunications Systems for access by communication providers participating in the RUS funding program.

Redline applauds the RUS program for assisting service providers to bring broadband services to more areas across the United States, said Kevin Suitor, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Redline Communications. Telecommunications providers can take advantage of significant RUS funding to deploy Redline's high bandwidth, high throughput products and provide critical community services and local businesses with broadband support for voice, video and data services; services they depend on to carry out their businesses and remain profitable.

The Rural Utility Services (RUS) telecommunications program is designed to assist US communication operators in developing, planning and financing the construction of broadband communications by providing financial grants to enable operators to deploy broadband infrastructure services in rural, economically-challenged communities where services currently do not exist.
