AUSTIN, Texas, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Ringdale, Inc., a technology leader in network enhancing connectivity solutions, today announced the integration of fax receiving functionality with the document routing engine of FollowMe(R) to provide enhanced workflow capabilities.
FollowMe, Ringdale's industry leading secure document output management solution, utilizes a powerful policy and rules based printing engine to enforce document output conditions such as black and white and page count, to reduce costs associated with toner and paper usage. Ringdale's ModuLAN(R) FaxReceiver MFR-200 and the new ModuLAN(R) FaxReceiver MFR-400 (4-in-1 rack mount chassis) are devices that convert incoming faxes into e-mails and automatically sends them to an inbox without the use of a PC, also to save on printer consumables.
By integrating FaxReceiver's ability to convert faxes into digitized documents with FollowMe, users will be able to have inbound faxes controlled via any number of routing and/or printing conditions, including queuing print jobs directly to users' print queues as well as archiving them and sending them to recipients via e-mail as required based on customers' business requirements.
FollowMe offers a central web-based administration interface that allows administrators to manage all aspects of the fax and output management rules as well as network setup and settings, user enrollment and system monitoring and alerts.
"By integrating the functionality of the ModuLAN FaxReceiver with FollowMe, we have furthered demonstrated our continued effort to provide sustainable IT and more efficient document workflow," said Klaus Bollmann, chief executive officer, Ringdale.
