PARIS, December 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Rio Tinto Alcan today inaugurated a new EUR 5 million (US$7 million) remelting furnace for the recycling of used beverage cans (UBC) and a new EUR 10 million (US$15 million) trimming and slitting machine for beverage can body stock at its Neuf-Brisach site in France.
