- Will Provide FETAC Multi-Tiered Solution Featuring Lombardi's Business Process Management (BPM) Suite

- Satyam's Valuable BPM Expertise Will Enable Rapid Implementation

Satyam Computer Services Ltd. (NYSE:SAY), a leading global consulting and IT services provider, announced today that it has been awarded a major contract with Ireland's Further Education Training and Awards Council (FETAC.) Under the contract, Satyam will drive FETAC's implementation of Enterprise-Class BPM solutions for its core business processes.

Satyam won the contract as a result of its proven leadership in Consulting and Enterprise Business Solutions market, and its BPM consulting and services expertise. Satyam will use Teamworks(R), Lombardi's award winning BPM suite to roll out a multi-tiered solution that includes Process Management, Business Intelligence, and Document Management via enhanced security and integration frameworks. The solution will automate several manual processes and provide FETAC with enhanced process visibility and performance, stronger collaboration with business stakeholders, and reduced service cycle times.

"The win is a testament to Satyam's commitment to providing a solutions-based consultative approach for our European customers," said Dr. Keshab Panda, Sr. Vice President, Director and head of Satyam European operations. "This approach has been a key to our success in expanding our presence in Europe.

"This is a key investment, not just for FETAC but for the hundreds of centers using our online systems every day,'' said Stan McHugh, Chief Executive FETAC. "This new system will enable us to provide a reliable and easy-to-use service. It will also have the added value of making information and statistics about FETAC awards readily available, which will help all providers better understand and anticipate the changing needs of the further education and training sector."

"Our consulting-led approach enabled us to showcase a solution framework that will enable FETAC to achieve its business goals," added Sriram Krishnan, Satyam's senior vice president of Consulting and Enterprise Solutions. "Lombardi's robust product offering, coupled with our execution capabilities, will prove to be a winning combination.
