"With its best-in-class test tools, the SPoC Labs offer an ideal setting for evaluating product performance and capabilities," said David Newman, president of Network Test, a leading independent benchmarking and network design consultancy. "The networked test beds, along with the advanced test automation framework and input from veteran test engineers, present a great environment for validating new consumer- and enterprise-centric technologies."

The SPoC Labs feature the latest Spirent test systems for cutting edge technologies including FCoE, the next generation technology for storage networks. The SPoC Labs offer more than just network emulation capabilities by also allowing engineers to identify the performance of a system and ultimately assuring the service quality of experience (QoE) of next generation multi-play networks and multi-device technologies.

"Building on the success of our Sunnyvale Proof of Concept Lab, we've expanded our efforts to include facilities in London and Beijing to address the ever-changing and increasingly complex needs of today's customers," said Bill Burns, CEO of Spirent Communications Group. "Our SPoC Labs broaden both the testing and automation environment and clearly demonstrates Spirent's ability to facilitate real-world testing on a truly global scale."
