Beko Elektronik Company will incorporate SRS TruSurround XT in all 37-inch and up LCD TV's throughout their new 2007-2008 lineup, which includes the Hydra, Piano, Excito and Impeto models. Additionally, TruSurround XT will appear in select models within the existing Series H and Series J line of LCD TVs. All models offer breathtaking picture quality and, with TruSurround XT, consumers can enjoy a realistic virtual surround experience from only two speakers. Beko's production on the new models begins this month.

"When designing our new line of LCD TVs, it was critical that the audio quality matched the premium picture quality to complete the entertainment experience," said Mr. Oguzhan Ozturk, General Manager of Beko Elektronik Company. "Its brand awareness and better overall performance made SRS TruSurround XT the clear choice. The rich acoustic depth and surround sound experience it delivers, combined with stunningly vibrant colors and superior workmanship created the overall appeal we hoped to achieve in our new range of LCD TVs."

SRS TruSurround XT, the industry's leading patented virtual surround sound technology, processes up to 6 channels (5.1) of audio information to deliver an engaging virtual 5.1 surround sound experience over only two speakers. SRS TruSurround XT also utilizes additional proprietary audio enhancement techniques from SRS Labs for optimized bass performance using psychoacoustic principles and improved intelligibility of dialog from video content. The end result leaves the listener feeling as if they are surrounded by "phantom" speakers which appear to extend all around them, producing a distinctly immersive surround sound field without the clutter of extra speakers. When receiving mono or stereo content, TruSurround XT processes the audio for a truly expansive three-dimensional sound field, providing the industries largest 'sweet spot'.

"The combination of leading edge designs from top TV manufacturers, such as Beko Elektronik Company, and our ability to fine tune and customize our SRS audio enhancement technologies, enables us to partner with manufacturers and address the multiple audio challenges inherent with flat panel TVs," said Eduard Vendrell, Sales Executive-EMEA of SRS Labs. "The result is some of the most stylish TVs available, delivering a high quality audio experience from built-in speakers."

In recent research conducted by MarketTools, it was reported that SRS TruSurround XT was SRS Labs strongest brand and the most widely implemented virtual surround sound technology in the market. Additionally, DisplaySearch reported that over 58 million flat panel TVs were shipped worldwide in 2006, of those 22 million featured a SRS audio technology, based on revenue reports. The category is expected to increase by 47.6 percent in 2007, according to DisplaySearch, who is projecting 85.6 million units in worldwide sales. They are also anticipating another 27.6 percent increase in worldwide sales for 2008, predicting shipments of 109.2 million units.

SRS audio enhancement technologies continue to be the first choice in audio enhancement for manufacturers due to their flexibility, ease of integration, better overall performance and cost savings benefits. SRS TruSurround technology has 11 patents in the U.S. and internationally. Since its introduction, SRS TruSurround has shipped worldwide in tens of millions of consumer electronics products, such as flat panel TVs, surround speaker bars, DVD players and set-top boxes.
