SANTA MONICA, California, July 9 /PRNewswire/ --

- Suretone.com was built in partnership with Flux, Mozes, and BKWLD. Designed by BKWLD, the site's online community was constructed by Flux, allowing fans to interact directly with Suretone artists, while Mozes brought the two together through mobile updates and phone messages.

Santa Monica-based record label, Suretone, presents the launch of their unprecedented and innovative online music destination, http://www.suretone.com.

The new Suretone website is the first of its kind to synthesize the interactive community of blogs, photos, and video posting with the personalization of each of its artists. From exchanging actual phone messages with From First to Last, to seeing the latest Shwayze show minutes after it happens, Suretone is giving new definition to the term "ALL ACCESS."

Suretone Entertainment Group (SEG) founder and Chairman Jordan Schur stated, "Our goal was to build a site engineered as a destination for the music driven youth in general, along with the fans of Suretone's artists, to gather and share their ideas in a diverse community. Suretone New Media director Ashley Jex has done an incredible job in bringing together the elements and various partners to create a state of the art approach to becoming one with our artists, and being involved in their artistry. Whether you wish to communicate with our artists, work for them, contribute ideas, video, art, or pictures to them, or simply be a voice heard clearly in the fast-growing Suretone community, the site offers endless ways to become woven into the fabric of Suretone and its artists. Suretone.com officially launches Suretone as a musical brand destination allowing community members vertical integration into all aspects of our artist's lives, an experience we believe will be difficult to match anywhere else on the web."

Partnered with social media network Flux, Suretone.com offers an expansive toolset and powerful platform to give the user a huge range of features through the Suretone community. "Flux is actively working with media publishers to power their social communities in a seamless fashion at no cost. We want to provide a turn-key solution for labels like Suretone to create a destination within their site for fans and artists to interact," states Steven Kim, head of Strategic Partnerships at Flux. Community features include content sharing, member profiles, customized page layouts, photo and video uploads, and easy technical integration. The community offers an array of contests which allow fans to submit their own creative content to the site. Users can create their own topics and chat with friends on the Suretone message boards, as well as, comment on news items and compose their own blog entries. They can direct message fellow members, post bulletins, share links with one another, and leave personalized comments across the web. The Suretone community provides everything a fan could possibly want to get up close and personal with their favorite artists and friends.

The Suretone website spotlights a unique mobile interaction using MOZES allowing fans to sign up for mobile updates, send text messages, photos, and even voice messages directly to their favorite artists. The messages appear on visual flash maps displayed on suretone.com. The map pinpoints where the nationwide messages are flowing in from, allowing users to listen to recordings and message other fans back instantaneously. Using Mozes, Suretone has also hosted several exclusive meet and greets with artists at their shows. Fans may text a short code to Mozes and are instantly sent back a message awarding prizes to lucky fans. Additionally through Suretone.com, fans are sent ring tones, videos, and even photos directly to their cellular device simply by signing up for the Suretone mobile list.

Suretone also teamed up with contextual marketing and web-development firm, BKWLD, to allow users to find pertinent information with great ease using a simple two-column design. The site includes detailed views of news items, tour dates, music videos, an online store, a press section, artist profiles, release information, and includes a main feature board showcasing new content on the site. Suretone.com is powered by a dynamic CMS system that keeps content fresh with information updating several times daily. Suretone.com will be overseen on a daily basis by Ashley Jex, Director of New Media at Suretone Records. The site was produced by Jex, who has been a member of the Suretone team for over a year and has roots at Capitol Records. Ashley says of the new site, "Suretone.com was built keeping the fans of our artists in mind. Users can come to the site, sign up for the street team, find the information they need, stay updated through RSS, and even take our videos with them using embeddable codes. We were very excited to partner with Flux to build the community and BKWLD for the expertise in design."
