MUMBAI, India, October 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The fifth annual Tata Interactive Learning Forum (TLF) 2008 brings together industry thought leaders to share strategies and meet challenges in learning solutions and corporate training

The fifth annual Tata Interactive Learning Forum (TLF) was held on October 17, 2008 at the Gleacher Center in downtown Chicago. Attended by more than 100 representatives from the leading organizations in business and education, the forum explored new ways to meet the challenges posed by economic uncertainties and technological advancements.

The TLF was preceded by an evening reception at The Signature Room on the 95th(R). The main program featured two tracks-the corporate track was themed Leveraging Learning in an Uncertain Economy while the education track focused on The Convergence of Technology in Education. The TLF 2008 showcased sessions by noted speakers and thought leaders in learning - the TLF corporate track included sessions by Chris Glynn, Caterpillar University; Cindy Freeman, Procter Gamble; Darryl A. Spivey, PNC Bank; Dr. Stefan Eisen Jr., USAF Negotiation Center of Excellence (NCE); David Bobeck, Credit Suisse; Anand Prasad, Procter Gamble; Dino Mauricio, Consultant; Stacey Harris, Bersin Associates; Irada Sadykhova, Microsoft; Beth Hying, Caterpillar University; Christine Troianello, Avaya; and Dave Vance, former President of Caterpillar University.

The education track explored whether organizations' educational technology initiatives and learning solutions were aligned with trends in the marketplace, delivering the right product at the right time, designed to help create a revenue stream, meeting the students' and customers' expectations, and aligned with the institution's learning goals. Some of the questions that the corporate track dealt with included creating learning solutions that deliver value, boosting revenues by reducing time-to-competence, ensuring that your staff is aligned to business goals, and increasing productivity and performance.
