ABU DHABI, UAE, September 27, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- IT security professionals in the Middle East will be delighted to learn the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has released the topics for the Black Hat Abu Dhabi 2010 training sessions. Black Hat Abu Dhabi is a first time event for the industry leading information security event series and is happening from the 8th - 11th of November at Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority represented by the UAE Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT), in cooperation with Khalifa University of Science and Technology with UBM are responsible for bringing Black Hat to the Middle East. The event gathers together experts and companies in the IT security field to discuss the latest in IT security issues, trends, and solutions.

The training sessions will include:

Cyber Network Defense Bootcamp; a two day workshop focusing on educating delegates on why it is important to identify and deal with malware, malware analysis, and counter measures.

Hacking by Numbers: Bootcamp; a novice level and highly practical course that teaches method-based hacker thinking, skills, and techniques.

Ultimate Hacking: Wireless; a course that will deliver hands-on application of wireless hacking methodologies from configuring interfaces to the latest attacks.

Hands-On Hardware Hacking and Reverse Engineering Techniques: Black Hat Edition; this first-of-its-kind course will focus entirely on hardware hacking rather than software.

Tariq Al Hawi, Director of the United Arab Emirates Computer Emergency Response Team commented Hacking is one of the most serious threats to both software and hardware infrastructures which is why it is important that companies and IT security experts stay up to date on the latest in hacking techniques and methods. aeCERT is inviting individuals, companies, government and academia to take part in Black Hat Abu Dhabi in an effort to do this.

Other sessions include Real World Security: Attack, Defend, Repel; an intensive 2 day course on offensive and defensive security, TCP/IP Weapons School 2.0 ; how networks can be abused and subverted, plus a number of other technical trainings crucial to the IT security industry.

Black Hat Abu Dhabi will offer a full range of sessions, including ten training programmes running on 8th and 9th November, followed by three briefing tracks running simultaneously on 10th and 11th alongside the exhibition.
