OTTAWA, February 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the recent merger announcement, UBM TechInsights today announced an expansion of its sales and support coverage for Europe. The changes consist of a new executive appointment and an additional sales office in Munich to provide comprehensive coverage of the region.

The new focus on Europe is headed-up by Conor Sheehan, who has been recently promoted to Vice President of Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Conor has a decade of prior experience leading sales and business development activities in Asia.
The new European sales office will be in Munich, headed by Dr. Armin Kohlhase, Ph.D. Dr. Kohlhase's background includes more than 23 years in microelectronics and semiconductors including four years managing and licensing Intellectual Property (IP). Dr. Kohlhase has held successively senior roles with Siemens AG, Infineon Technologies AG, Infineon Flash GmbH and Qimonda AG.
UBM TechInsights' Montpellier, France facility will report to Dr. Kohlhase. In France, Ms. HongYuan Rose, Manager of Sales Business Development, and Ms. Qing Wang, Senior Technical Sales, have amassed many years of experience in business development and technical sales support for technology benchmarking and IP professional services.
