- Comptel Solution to Improve Fulfillment Processes for Mobile Services at Orascom Sister Company
Comptel Corporation (OMX Helsinki: CTL1V), the leading vendor of dynamic Operations Support System (OSS) software, announced today that Greek operator WIND Hellas has selected Comptel Provisioning and Activation Solution.
WIND Hellas is owned by Weather Investments, which also owns a 50% plus one share of Orascom Telecom Holding S.A.E. This deal follows the announcements in 2007 of Comptel being chosen as preferred supplier by Orascom Telecom.
With an annual turnover of EUR1.3 billion and more than 5 million customers, WIND Hellas is one of Greece's largest telecommunications operators, operating in a competitive environment, where time-to-market for services is a key factor for success.

The solution automates the provisioning and activation processes, covering the entire workflow from service order to start of billing. At WIND Hellas, the solution is used also to manage mobile number portability. The whole project was delivered in just 4 months.
