NATIONALITY: UK Citizen.
WORK: Writer, painter and poet.
ART: I've had several galleries in London and Boston for my oil on canvas, expressionist style paintings. In general, I paint sorrowful, anguished women from my imagination (without using models). The artists that have most influenced me are Van Gogh and Egon Schiele.
POETRY: I've had several of my poems published, (e.g. The American Poetry Anthology, 1987, Volume II, No. 3), by the American Poetry Association. I’ve also had my poetry published in the US National Library of Poetry, (entitled 'Sparkles in the Sand', 1995). Finally, I’ve had my book of poems, entitled, 'When Elegance Weeps'. This latest poetry book has been published here in Syria and in the United Kingdom.
JOURNALISM: I've worked as a journalist for several newspapers, and since I came here to Syria in 2004, I write articles for various newspapers here.
NON-FICTION BOOKS: I've written a book, entitled 'Are We Happy?' which has also been translated into Arabic, and which has already been published here in Syria, under Dar Tlass Publishing House. It is a critique of the self-proclaimed ‘superior’ western Civilisation. The books analyses how Western so-called ‘Civilisation is in fact a degrading, corrupting ‘culture’ that ultimately causes men, women and children to suffer from all types and varieties of mental problems – as the own Western government statistics show. And what is worse, is that this Western Civilisation is rapidly spreading over other countries.
I have also written scientific manuscripts on the subject of what the definition of Consciousness, the ‘I’, and the ‘Self’ is, and ultimately writing on what the Constituents of the Mind are. These studies are deeply connected with the Quantum Physics Consciousness Sciences – and it is a subject that, perhaps not surprisingly, does not have such a large audience!
FICTION BOOKS: I have written a fiction book entitled, ‘The Story of Sara’, which is soon to be published. The story is about how Western society gradually destroys, degrades and corrupts human morality, compassion, decency and most important of all: peace of mind.
INTERESTS: I've always loved animals, and, in my garden, I take care of lions, wolves, hyenas, crocodiles, a bear and so on! One thing I would love to do and have not done so far is to teach students on various subjects that I have some knowledge about such as: World History, Politics, Social Sciences, Poetry, the History of Art, Sciences (such as Biology, Physics), Quantum Physics Consciousness studies - and subjects that especially interest the youth of our age.
