It seems that Intelligent Design has a fatal flaw in its logic that seems to escape most advocates of it.  That flaw is in recognizing that "design" is insufficient to result in "creation".

As a result, unless design also involves creation, then one would have to concede that all the apparent complexity is a result of fundamental physical processes occurring with no specific influence.  At this point, one has to question that if such processes can result in the complexity, then what is the role of the "designer" if there is no corresponding "creator"?
