About Amy I am a science enthusiast who suffers from Narcolepsy & Cataplexy. Through this column I am hoping to record details of my weight loss endeavor. I currently have a BMI of around 40 - which is considered to be very obese. However, my problem is, being a sufferer of Narcolepsy & Cataplexy creates physical restrictions on my ability to function daily. That is why I am keeping this column as a record of my endeavor to loose weight. Sure, weight loss is a challenge for anybody, but even more so when you have a medical condition hindering you every step of the way.
