About Calista I am a certified Medical Technologist (ASCP) with two BS degrees: one is a double major in psychology and biology (concentration in microbiology) with a minor in chemistry from Georgia State University. The other is a degree in medical technology from Medical College of Georgia. I am currently in the Master of Public Health program at Emory University, where I am concentrating on infectious disease epidemiology. I work for the Georgia Emerging Infections program (focusing on FoodNet) and for a local hospital microbiology laboratory.
