About Clemence I am a Senior Lecturer in botany at the University of Zimbabwe. I hold a doctorate degree and has taught in this University for 14 years. I have also taught for three years at the National University of Lesotho. My research area over the years has largely been on the biodiversity of petaloid monocots but recently my interests have slightly shifted to natural plant products phytochemical and pharmacological evaluations focussing mainly on local endemic plants. I have published extensively in the areas of petaloid monocots and recently has set up a research group on natural products. I see my membership of science20 as giving me a platform to share my research findings with colleaagues and also to network in various areas of scientific enquiry.
