About Darrell Darrell W. Gunter is an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University and a recognized expert in the fields of semantic technology, mobile applications and social networking for the Science, Technical and Medical publishing. He is a frequent speaker and moderator at many information industry events advocating the benefits of semantic technology, mobile applications and social networking.

Over the course of his 30-year career he has served in key executive positions for the leading firms in electronic intellectual property industry including Dow Jones, Elsevier, Collexis, The American Institute of Physics and Allerton Press, Inc. Darrell now heads a strategic consultancy firm the Gunter Media Group providing business, technology and sales strategy.

Darrell is a graduate of Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business, where he obtained his BS in Business Administration and Marketing and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. 



He has served on many boards including the Content Board of the Software Information Industry, Olin College of Engineering Library Advisory Board, Seton Hall University Advisory Council and the Women's Venture Fund. His highly regarded radio program "Leadership" airs Saturday mornings at 9:00 am on WSOU HD 89.5 FM / WSOU.net.
