About David I am a 4th year undergraduate student at Western Washington University studying Journalism, History and Literature. I am currently on the writing staff of The Plant Magazine, published by Huxley College of the Environment at WWU. The magazine is run entirely by undergraduate students, and is perhaps the only publication of its kind in the country - the writing, editorial, design staff as well as the photographers comprise what is likely the largest staff of enviornmental journalists in the Pacific Northwest, maybe the country. The faculty advisor for the magazine is Bill Dietrich, a journalist and author shared a Pulitzer prize for his coverage of the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska.
