About Dean Dean Kisling is a high school dropout who learned to type when he was 47. He has been a soldier, laborer, driver, welder, carpenter, musician, trailrunner, mountaineer and fool. He lives in America and is very happily married. He writes fiction and essays. He reports what happened and also makes stuff up. He is a member of the Triple Nine Society, which requires ~150 IQ. He pays attention and employs logical reasoning and actual evidence as much as possible, but recognizes that he is human, and therefore susceptible to the usual human errors and outbursts of idiocy. He is a pretty good observer, reads a lot, and dwells (figuratively) in a grass and mud hut rather than an ivory tower. He considers himself a generalist and an explorer.
