About Elizabeth I’m a first year college student at my local community college. I plan on going into some physics and astronomy classes once I get some mathematics under my belt. My plan is to get my associates in Science degree and transfer to a four year university. I haven’t gone any further than that in my thinking, even though I have looked at a few university websites. I love writing about cosmology and astronomy, I could set down and type out paragraph after paragraph about cosmology and astronomy. Especially star birth and death and how telescopes work. Physics is still a grey area for me, I’ve delved into enough to know the basics. The math part is the grey area, hence the taking mathematics classes. I want to understand the math part because that would open up more doors for me. I’m an amateur Astronomer with two Newtonian reflecting telescopes. I have a 17lb. Celestron Astromaster 114, it has a 4.5in mirror. It might not have very large aperture but I use it more often than my second one because its more portable and easier to handle. I can just pick it up and go. I also have a huge 80+lb C10-N telescope. That’s a Celestron, 10in mirror, Newtonian GOTO scope. It is motorized and it gives awesome views of the moon and spectacular views of Jupiter. I haven’t had it out many time due to weather and time. I love sciences of all kinds, Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, Paleontology, Geology, you name it I like it. I wish I could study all of these disciplines, but I can only read and study one or two at a time.
