About Helena-Sophia Serious amateur vulcanologist ever since the first day I entered the active flow field of the ongoing eruption of Pu'u 'Ō'ō crater on the Big Island of Hawai'i. At one point I lived 400 m away from the cascading lava flow. 'Quantum Philosophy' has become another fancy of mine. Educated in West-Germany. Never pursued an academic career based on health issues. Instead discovered the pure love for science for the sake of science and nothing else. True science happens without financial constraints. To be able to study the relationship between the different viscosities of the lava types and their anchoring in the Hawai'ian culture well be a subject never really considered by any scientist, but that never deterred me from getting to the bottom of 'things'.
