About Jayne I used to lay awake at night worrying about our environment. Then, I took my communications degree and went to work as an Environmental Specialist administering Urban Environmental Programs. As a reformed surf bohemian, the cube farm wasn't for me, but loved the teaching aspect of my job. Art is my hobby, so I went back to school to become an Art Teacher. As all good science geeks know, the universe has it's own plan so it picked me up landed me as a middle school Life Science Teacher. I now teach High School General Science in the burbs and I love it. I get to talk about science everyday with curious kids. I am part comedian, part therapist, part actor, part mother, part scientist and completely entertained, every day.
