About Laasya I'm Laasya, a PhD student in Molecular biology at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. I enjoy writing and have written for the science section of national newspapers as a freelancer. I have no books to my credit (yet :)!, but have written poetry for children's magazines as well as essays and short stories on occasion. I'm very fond of history, biology and literature and my science writing topics therefore often revolve around evolutionary problems or could be book reviews!
