About Magdalene I was a sponge for knowledge when I was growing up, I wanted to know everything about EVERYTHING. I drove my parents nuts with questions about everything under the sun as soon as I could form a sentence. They were desperate, it was either teach me to read or turn to heavy drugs. Desperation must be a wonderful motivator; they had me reading by the time I was three and a half. So, by the time the inevitable "Why?!?" popped out of my mouth, they had a book in my hands and they would be blessed with silence for at least 5 minutes at a time. *grin*
