I've been a dedicated, full time science and technology journalist for the past 8 years. My background is in physics and chemistry, but I cover virtually every scientific discipline. My first job was at United Press International, and since then I've been the chief research correspondent for NewsFactor Networks; Heldref Publications; and freelance.
