About Olivia I am a recent graduate with a BSc in Neuroscience and Psychology. During my final year at university I conducted two research projects; one, exploring the effect of aluminium on the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, and a second on the general public’s reactions towards mental illness. It was during my course that I discovered a passion for science and a keenness to write and share my enthusiasm with others. My aim is to write about issues that interest me, whilst keeping articles accessible to the general public, in order to avoid adding to the divide that still exists between scientists and “non-scientists”. I hope to increase understanding and help people to realise just how relevant science is to their everyday life.
