About Paul
Paul J. Soychak began his career at UVM where he got his degree in Biochemistry, CS and Theatre. Paul completed his undergraduate work at UVM Magna Cum Laude. He then went on to do his MFA at the Carnegie-Mellon University/Moscow Art Theatre School with honors. He is an actor, director and movement/combat choreography director. He is also a computer consultant and teacher/professor/tutor and web designer and general IT guru to the locals! Paul's credits include the critically acclaimed Heart of a Dog, Screwed, End Zone, Rough Landing on a Soft Cranium, Kong Wash, Burning Bridges, Don and Tom, Automatism (which won a Bessie Award for best short film) and Moving Targets. One of his biggest accomplishment thus far was acting for a special summit performance of The Three Sisters where he played old man Ferapont for the Clinton's and the Yeltsin's. He is elated to be part of the independent film The Language of Kickball, accepted by the New York City Independent Film and Video Festival. Currently, Paul is launching the MASSIVE undertaking of using Mikhail Bulgakov's Master and Margarita to do his Ph.D. dissertation with in order to perform scientific analysis of actors and non actors...sound interesting?
