About roger USC Berkeley 1951-69, MSEE Biomedical Met Martin Luther King when he was about 27 years of age, I was about 21 years of age. He was decending the stairway at the YMCA Stiles Hall Student building, and Ceicel Thomas, a christian minister working there said to me, "I'd like you to meet Martin Luther King", as he reached the last step into the basement street level floor, he reached out his hand, and shook it as I looked into his face. I thought to myself rapidly "He looks like Bobby Cobbs" (BC) a young man, his father a preacher in Alabama. "Bobby Cobbs had approached "us" a Berkeley based organization "Community for New Politics" (CNP), we met in a building West of UC Campus near the Civil Square, he spoke before the CNP circle of organizers and wanted to organize in the City of Oakland. I invited him to stay at my small apartment since I was already working as a volunteer in West Oakland at the Peter Maurin (sp?) Neighborhood House (PMNH) with local peoples. BC remarked later that in Alabama, the townspeople warned him that he best leave the town. I guess he was getting too active, I take, from his comment "When I saw on TV the long hair guys with white shirts, I said 'that's where I am going'. Actually I had cut my hair shortest in my then life, have a picture taken by a student showing me listening to a debate, where I spotted one man standing next to me, he had a bief case in his right hand, and I noticed a square hole in it side, so I confronted him, he immediately took off walking rapidily, we "chased him", he finally drove off. I won't "shaggy dog" you here with a half century ago replay of my impressions from memory, except the slogan: "The revolution won't (or will be) on TV". Welcome to the internet, I see that my ibook charger that is normally green indicating charging, goes yellow when I log on to your website, when I "shut down" (power off button) and reboot, it returns to green, and stays yellow, my quess, NSA like tappers at work helping America keep safe. Safe for what, I am not sure, but we all needs jobs, and there are some on our USA Federal and State Constitution. I am a volunteer for a local ACLU in Michigan, have been for the some 40 years I lived here, am on the "complaints committee", I operate open systems except to keep my interviews with complaints confidential, the reason I do is that I can back track the tappers (commercial, law enforcement, whoever). Now, thanks to Bob Woodward in current interviews for his new book on the Iraq War, he hinted, I believe, that there are covert USA assassination squads, "our government" can use modern technology to assassinate individuals in Iraq. The weapons appear to be very high tech, no vote required apparently to use them. So War is said to be a Game, as Nixon was reported to have said, we can use a "sniper" gun to select individual humans with "surgical" precision. How about sending cooperating teams of medical doctors that are part of USA own improved health system, send Iraq peoples here for training.... You get the idea here. Become active now, save the world, vote and march when the vote is stolen, get organized the Revolution is here and now! Well the Internet is the revolution.
