Interest in sustainability in Gaian evolution and general proposition that syntropy is a process distinct from entropy by which life creates the conditions of its own survival and development through consciousness as a fundamental property of existence (see, for instance, work by Stapp and by Klingman). Consilience is a better criterion than Occam's Razor.
