A scientist - not anymore... This has to change!
Born in 1970 I grew up in Germany to getting interested in mathematics, physics and computers. Consequently, I studied aeronautics and astronautics to become an engineer. Fond of teaching and numerical simulation I worked at university after that and did my PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics in 2004.
Since then there was life in industry. Nowadays I have to manage, lead and still have to deal with numbers, i.e. count the money we earn - no real science. I am loosing track of the really important issues in the world and want to be able to inspire my three children.
Therefore I am here: To gather information and maybe one day to be able to reconnect to the scientific community and to contribute to scientific discussions.
