AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, August 18 /PRNewswire/ --

Quadrem today announced it has signed a global business process outsourcing (BPO) agreement with SAP AG in order to help customers reduce the cost and complexity of implementing and operating integrated electronic sourcing, procurement, invoicing and contract management processes. In addition, Quadrem's BPO services have qualified as "Powered by SAP".

"Our goal is to leverage the combination of SAP's market-leading technologies and Quadrem's expertise and supplier network to deliver a flexible, comprehensive SRM offering and make it available based on the need of the customer," said Christopher Haydon, Quadrem's senior vice president of Marketing and Global Solutions. "The Quadrem BPO services powered by SAP software provide customers with rapid time-to-value, whether they are implementing an end-to-end solution or integrating individual components to complement their existing capabilities."

The flexibility of the Quadrem offering is attractive to Fortune 500 companies that can now take advantage of on-demand services to outsource network-centric processes. It is also ideal for mid-size companies without an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system -- or with an ERP solution from a vendor other than SAP -- that want best-in-class, source-to-pay capabilities. Additionally, companies that need a bridging strategy during an ERP implementation, or for disparate divisions or locations, should consider Quadrem BPO services.

The main components of the Quadrem BPO services powered by SAP software include the following:

-- Pre-configured SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) application, including e-sourcing, covering sourcing, procurement, contract management, and invoice workflow, specifically tuned for use in a BPO scenario

-- Quadrem's Global Supplier Network (currently over 55,000 suppliers), transaction platform, and supplier on-boarding and enablement services

-- Catalogue and content data management, master data management and integration services

All services listed above are delivered on-demand and built through a very close collaboration between Quadrem and SAP.

"Quadrem has a proven track record of helping global customers achieve successful multi-enterprise integration and collaboration in e-procurement, e-sourcing, and e-invoicing," said Dr. Christian Baader, vice president, SAP BPO. "We are pleased that Quadrem's BPO services have qualified as 'Powered by SAP', offering end-to-end solutions that leverage SAP SRM to provide added value to customers."
