I an an amateur. After a Jesuit education, strong in the classics, at Regis High School, I received my BS in economics from MIT, worked in state and local government (NYC, NYS) for 4 years, got an MBA from HBS, worked in management consulting and investment banking.

I have always enjoyed and worked hard at the mathematical, scientific, and engineering aspects of whatever I was engaged in. Upon being assessed as having ADHD (Inattentive), I became interested in cognitive psychology.

I am very interested in assessing pop and folk psychology and proverbial wisdom scientifically.
