About Jeffry
I'm a clinical psychologist in private practice. I have a Ph.D. from the Graduate Center of CUNY and trained as a psychoanalyst at the Post Graduate Center in NYC. I Have written numerous columns for local and not so local newspapers and am contemplating the beginning of a book, entitled Diary of Country Psychologist.
The more concrete bio items are a bit too numerous for this section, but as one of the originators of the Society for Psychotherapy Research I have an abiding interest in my field as scientist and practitioner. Living in upstate NY has both insulated me-bad- and inspired me-good- to develop a somewhat unique (emphasis on "somewhat") view of the human psychological condition, and psychotherapeutic process.
