About Joseph I graduated from the University of Toronto with a pre-med Life Sciences degree, specializing in human toxicology, and completed a research report on a cardiovascular pharmacology study of drug-receptor binding assays. I later graduated from Quinnipiac University Law School and have had a general law practice for 9 years. These days I am very interested in the intersection between intellectual property law and the explosion of research in genomics, stem cells, and pharmaceutical development and manufacture. But I remain a scientist at heart and I have a voracious appetite for the latest findings in all fields of research. Every day I am stunned by how much we have learned since my graduation from college in the '90's. And the best part is that there is still so much to learn even in fields we thought we had a handle on (dark energy, anyone?). The joy of discovery is for me today every bit as awesome as it was for me as a child learning about my world by catching fireflies in the garden. I know I am not alone in this fascination for discovery, and this is why I am here to make my humble contributions to help spread the wonder of science to the next generation of discoverers and problem solvers.
