About Marsha I am a 73 year old journalist and have held positions in both advertising and editoria departments of small town newspapers across the United States. Reading through your captions, I am very excited about being able to learn from a cross section of the fields the Scientific Blogger members represent. I live on the beautiful Sonoma County Coast of California, I am a fourth generation Californian. widowed, and the mother of three children. By the time my youngest was four years old, she had splashed in the ocean near Cape May, New Jersey, waded in the ocean off Fort Bragg, California and swam in the waters of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The kids could be called space brats, as their father worked hands on both the Titan Missle Defense System and the Saturn Moon Rocket.
